To say that the Delzoppo family have coffee flowing through their veins is an understatement.

The 70’s in Melbourne was a very different place to what you see now, there were no coffee technicians that specialised in coffee equipment. Michael Delzoppo was a qualified motor mechanic who at the time, could see the frustration in the eyes of roasters and cafe owners. After sitting down with a prominent coffee roaster, he decided that he would dedicate his life to coffee equipment. He went on to grow from a little shed in the backyard to a national company whose lifetime spanned over 36 years.

He believed in a good work ethic and honesty, he would say: do the job once and do it right!

My story begins here: at a young age, I remember the shed full of coffee machines to the point where I was tripping over them. When most kids played with trucks in the sandpit, l was pulling apart coffee machines.

After leaving school, I was brought into the family business to learn my trade. There wasn’t a machine on the market that we couldn’t fix.

30 years and three states later, I am proud to say that I can continue the Delzoppo legacy with my own machine repair company. I’ll bring the same work ethic and honesty to Complete Espresso that my father passed down to me.
